About

Activity Overview:

Green City Build is an initiative is meant to expose learners from participating pre-apprenticeship programs to careers in construction all while giving them insight into what it takes to design and build a variety of building types using the highest green building processes, standards and materials. They learn through site tours, virtual reality and hands on projects. Green City Build is designed to foster teamwork and collaboration.

Annually, pre-apprenticeship training delivery partners come together to present a Skills Competition with the goal of showcasing the skills learned by pre-apprentices in their different programs.
